Exclusionary Coverage

The Powersports Protection Plan helps cover the cost of eligible repairs for sudden and unexpected mechanical or electrical breakdowns, less the deductible, except for items listed as exclusions in the service agreement.

Available Terms: 24, 36, 48, or 60 months

Eligible: On-road motorcycles, Harley-Davidson motorcycles, scooters, off-road motorcycles, three-wheel motorcycles, youth vehicles, golf carts, personal watercraft, snowmobiles, and eligible equipment

  • Payment Reimbursement — May reimburse a prorated portion of the vehicle loan payment when an authorized covered repair keeps the vehicle in the repair facility for more than 10 days. Maximum benefit: $2,500 per contract term.
  • Battery — Provides replacement of the vehicle battery if it becomes unserviceable during the contract term.
  • Lift Coverage — Covers eligible factory or dealer-installed modified suspension components, up to a 6" lift or 3" lower. Oversized tires up to 35" outside diameter may also be eligible if installed before sale.
  • Commercial & Farm Use — Extends eligible coverage to vehicles used for commercial or farm purposes.
  • Snorkel ATV/UTV — Covers eligible aftermarket or factory catalog snorkel kits that are manufacturer- or dealership-installed prior to or by the effective date.
  • Clutch Coverage — Covers clutch-related items when failure is due to mechanical breakdown and not normal wear and tear.

  • Repairs completed without prior authorization
  • Non-covered diagnostic or tear-down charges
  • Commercial or farm use, unless Commercial & Farm Use coverage was purchased
  • Vehicles with emergency lighting, including police, fire, emergency service, tow trucks, and sanitation vehicles
  • Illegal, mismatched, improperly installed, recalled, or modified parts
  • Damage caused by improper repairs, improper installation, misuse, neglect, or lack of maintenance
  • Maintenance items, fluids, filters, refrigerant, and other consumables
  • Rust, corrosion, environmental damage, fluid leaks, water ingestion, carbon, sludge, or chemical build-up
  • Clutch-related items, unless Clutch Coverage was purchased
  • Damage from accidents, storms, fire, flood, freezing, vandalism, electrical surge, or other outside causes
  • Upgrades, modifications, disposal fees, or additional service/equipment fees
  • Vehicles modified beyond manufacturer specifications, unless the applicable add-on coverage was purchased

*Important Coverage Notes. Coverage begins once payment is received. New contracts include a 30-day waiting period. Renewals at the end of the contract term do not carry a waiting period. All service work must be authorized by the administrator in advance. Unauthorized repairs are not covered.
